The Hydraforce 5911119 (5911119) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to serve as a pressure-limiting device for common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, allowing for rapid response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. Although it has been superseded by the RVD58-20 model, which offers better pressure rise characteristics and a smaller size without dynamic seals, the RV10-20X remains effective for existing applications where a drop-in replacement is not required. Notably, the GRV10-20 corrosion-resistant version of this valve is not recommended for crossover applications.
