The Hydraforce 5911111 (5911111) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed specifically for use as a pressure-limiting device in common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is compatible with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, allowing for fast response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. This product has been superseded by the RVD58-20, which offers better performance characteristics such as a comparable response rate and improved pressure rise characteristics while being smaller in size. However, the RV10-20X remains suitable for existing and new applications where its specific features meet system requirements. It should be noted that the GRV10-20 corrosion-resistant version of this valve is not recommended for crossover applications.
