The Hydraforce 5911104 (5911104) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to serve as a pressure-limiting device for common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is compatible with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the poppet. It provides rapid response to load changes in standard hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. Notably, this product has been superseded by the RVD58-20, which is considered a best-in-class relief valve with similar pressure and flow ratings but offers improved performance characteristics such as better pressure rise and smaller size. Although the RV10-20X is not recommended for crossover applications, it remains suitable for existing and new applications where these specific attributes are required.
