The Hydraforce 5637404 (5637404) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting spool-type hydraulic sequence valve. This component is designed to direct flow to a secondary circuit once a predetermined pressure level is reached in the primary circuit. In its steady state, the PS10-32 blocks flow from port 3 to port 2. Upon reaching a specific pressure at port 1, the cartridge shifts to allow flow from port 3 to port 2. The valve's design includes an external pilot and internal spring chamber drain, with the spring chamber vented at port 2. This means that any back pressure at port 2 will directly affect the valve's setting on a one-to-one basis. Notably, adjustments on this valve cannot be backed out, which prevents springs from going solid and ensures reliable operation.
