The RV10-26X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the piloting relief, which then shifts the main (second stage) spool and opens the flow path between port 1 and port 2. This valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications.
