The Hydraforce 5623603.23.5 (Material Number: 5623603.23.5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits requiring fast response and low hysteresis. This model, known as the RV16-26X, effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to activate the piloting relief mechanism, which then shifts the main spool to open the flow path between ports 1 and 2. It is important to note that this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. The design of the RV16-26X ensures reliable performance in high-pressure environments where precise control and quick response times are critical.
