The Hydraforce 5623603 (5623603) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits. It is engineered to deliver fast response and low hysteresis, making it suitable for applications that require precise pressure control. The RV16-26X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the piloting relief, which then allows the main spool to shift and open the flow between ports. This mechanism ensures efficient operation under high-pressure conditions. However, it is important to note that this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications.
