The Hydraforce 5623572.28.5 (5623572.28.5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits requiring fast response and low hysteresis. This model, the RV16-26X, effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to activate the piloting relief off its seat. Once this occurs, the main (second stage) spool shifts to open port 1 to port 2, allowing for controlled pressure release. Notably, this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. The RV16-26X's design ensures reliability and precision in maintaining system pressure within specified limits, making it an essential component in hydraulic systems where maintaining optimal performance and safety is critical.
