The Hydraforce 5623476 (5623476) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits requiring fast response and low hysteresis. This valve efficiently blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until sufficient pressure at port 1 forces the pilot relief off its seat. This action allows the main stage to shift, thereby opening port 1 to port 2. Notably, the RV12-26X model cannot be used in cross-over relief applications. The valve features adjustments that cannot be backed out, preventing the springs from becoming solid. It also includes a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability and offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi). The design ensures rapid and smooth response to pressure surges while maintaining cost-effectiveness with its cavity construction.
