The Hydraforce 5623400.01.1 (5623400.01.1) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed to serve as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits requiring fast response and low hysteresis. This valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until sufficient pressure at port 1 causes the pilot relief to unseat, allowing the main stage to shift and open port 1 to port 2. It is important to note that this valve cannot be used in cross-over relief applications. Key features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from going solid, and a hardened spool and cage for extended durability. The valve offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi) and provides rapid, smooth responses to pressure surges while being housed in a cost-effective cavity design.
