The Hydraforce 5623203 (5623203) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits requiring fast response and low hysteresis. The RV12-26X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, allowing the main stage to shift and open port 1 to port 2. This valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from going solid, and a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability. The valve offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi) and provides rapid, smooth responses to pressure surges. Additionally, it is designed with a cost-effective cavity.
