The Hydraforce 5623000.02.9 (5623000.02.9) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require fast response and low hysteresis. This model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, allowing the main stage to shift and open the flow between ports. Notably, this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from becoming solid, as well as a hardened spool and cage that ensure long life. The RV12-26X offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi), providing rapid and smooth responses to pressure surges while maintaining cost-effective cavity design.
