The Hydraforce 5623000.02.8 (Material Number: 5623000.02.8) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated spool type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits requiring fast response and low hysteresis. The RV12-26X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, allowing the main stage to shift and open the flow path between ports 1 and 2. This valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from reaching solid height, and a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability. It offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi), ensuring rapid and smooth response to pressure surges while maintaining cost-effectiveness through its cavity design.
