The Hydraforce 5621404.22.5 (5621404.22.5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style remote sequence pilot unloading valve designed for use in accumulator-type hydraulic systems. Known as the UP10-31, this valve offers optional fixed unload/reload pressure ratios of 60%, 70%, or 80%. In its steady state, it effectively blocks flow from port 2 to port 3. When a predetermined pressure is reached at port 1, the spool shifts to permit flow from port 2 to port 3. The spring chamber being vented at port 3 means that any back pressure here will directly affect the valve setting on a one-to-one basis. If the pressure at port 1 falls below the established reload value ratio, the valve will close again, blocking flow from port 2 to port 3.
