The Hydraforce 5621402.15 (5621402.15) is a screw-in, cartridge-style remote sequence pilot unloading valve designed for use in accumulator-type hydraulic systems. Known as the UP10-31, this valve features optional fixed unload/reload pressure ratios of 60%, 70%, or 80%. In its steady state, the UP10-31 blocks flow from port 2 to port 3. Upon reaching a predetermined pressure at port 1, the spool shifts to permit flow from port 2 to port 3. The spring chamber is vented at port 3, meaning that any back pressure at this port will directly affect the valve setting on a 1:1 ratio basis. Should the pressure at port 1 drop below the established reload value ratio, the valve will close and block flow from port 2 to port 3 once again.
