The Hydraforce 5621401.M87 (5621401.M87) is a screw-in, cartridge-style remote sequence pilot unloading valve designed for use in accumulator-type hydraulic systems. Known as the UP10-31, this valve offers optional fixed unload/reload pressure ratios of 60%, 70%, or 80%. In its steady state, it blocks flow from port 2 to port 3, and upon reaching a predetermined pressure at port 1, the spool shifts to allow flow between these ports. The spring chamber's venting at port 3 means that any back pressure here affects the valve setting directly on a 1:1 basis. If the pressure at port 1 falls below the established reload value ratio, the valve closes again to block flow. Notably, adjustments on this valve cannot be backed out and are designed to prevent springs from going solid.
