The Hydraforce 5621400.M125 (5621400.M125) is a screw-in, cartridge-style remote sequence, pilot unloading valve designed specifically for accumulator-type hydraulic systems. Known as the UP10-31, this valve offers optional fixed unload/reload pressure ratios of 60%, 70%, or 80%. In its steady state, it effectively blocks flow from port 2 to port 3. Upon reaching a predetermined pressure at port 1, the spool shifts to permit flow from port 2 to port 3. The spring chamber's venting at port 3 allows back pressure at this port to directly affect the valve setting on a one-to-one basis. If the pressure at port 1 falls below the established reload value ratio, the valve closes and blocks flow from port 2 to port 3 once again. Notably, adjustments on this valve are designed such that they cannot be backed out and prevent springs from becoming solid.
