The Hydraforce 5616987 (5616987) is a spool type, pilot-operated hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve, identified as the PR12-36X model. This valve is designed to regulate pressure in secondary circuits by allowing bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When the pressure at port 1 reaches a predetermined level, the spool shifts to restrict inlet flow from port 2, thereby regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, it can relieve pressure from port 1 to port 3. Notably, tank pressure adds to the regulated pressure. The PR12-36X features adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve and ensures that springs do not go solid during operation. It also offers optional spring ranges up to 207 bar (3000 psi), providing flexibility in various applications requiring precise pressure control and relief functions within hydraulic systems.
