The Hydraforce 5616440 (5616440) is a screw-in, cartridge-style hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. This direct-acting spool type valve features an internal pilot and spring chamber drain, making it ideal for secondary circuit pressure regulation in stable input flow systems. In its normal state, the PR10-32X allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When the pressure at port 1 reaches a predetermined level, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, the valve can relieve excess pressure from port 1 to port 3 over the set reducing pressure value. Notably, adjustments on this valve cannot be backed out, preventing springs from becoming solid and ensuring operational integrity. It offers optional spring ranges up to 145 bar (2100 psi) and is constructed with a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability.
