The Hydraforce 5614948 (5614948) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, spool-type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. This component features an internal spring chamber drain and a spool damping chamber, specifically designed to regulate pressure in secondary circuits. The valve operates by allowing bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 when in its steady state, with the spring chamber continuously drained at port 3. Once a predetermined pressure is reached at port 1, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, it can relieve pressure from port 1 to port 3 above the set reducing pressure value.
