The Hydraforce 5614944 (5614944) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting spool type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. It features an internal spring chamber drain and spool damping chamber, specifically engineered to function as a pressure regulating device for secondary circuits. This valve allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 in its steady state, with the spring chamber consistently drained at port 3. When the predetermined pressure at port 1 is reached, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, it can relieve pressure from port 1 to port 3 over a variable value above the set reducing pressure.
