The Hydraforce 5614906P (5614906P) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, spool-type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve with an internal spring chamber drain and spool damping chamber. It is specifically designed to function as a pressure regulating device for secondary circuits. The valve allows for bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 in its steady state, with the spring chamber constantly drained at port 3. When a predetermined pressure is reached at port 1, the cartridge shifts to block flow at port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, this valve can relieve pressure from port 1 to port 3 at variable values over the set reducing pressure. One of its key features is that adjustments cannot be backed out of the valve, which also prevents springs from going solid. The valve offers optional spring ranges up to 227.5 bar (3300 psi).
