The Hydraforce 5614902U (5614902U) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting spool type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. This model features an internal spring chamber drain and a spool damping chamber, making it highly effective as a pressure regulating device for secondary circuits. In its steady state, the pr50-38xxx allows bidirectional flow between port 2 and port 1 while the spring chamber is constantly drained at port 3. When a predetermined pressure is reached at port 1, the cartridge shifts to block flow at port 2, thereby regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, this valve can relieve pressure from port 1 to port 3 at variable values over the set reducing pressure. The design includes features such as adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve and adjustments that prevent springs from going solid, ensuring reliable operation.
