The Hydraforce PR50-38A-0-N-21 (5614901) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, spool-type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. It features an internal spring chamber drain and a spool damping chamber, making it ideal for secondary circuit pressure regulation. In its steady state, the valve allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When a predetermined pressure is achieved at port 1, the cartridge shifts to block flow at port 2, regulating the pressure at port 1.
