The Hydraforce 5614900P (5614900P) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, spool-type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve with an internal spring chamber drain and spool damping chamber. This component is engineered to function as a pressure regulating device specifically for secondary circuits. It allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 in its steady state while maintaining constant drainage of the spring chamber at port 3. Upon reaching a predetermined pressure at port 1, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, it can relieve pressure from port 1 to port 3 at a variable value over the set reducing pressure. The valve features adjustments that cannot be backed out and prevents springs from going solid, ensuring durability and consistent performance.
