The Hydraforce 5613158 (5613158) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type hydraulic relief valve. It is designed to act as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require fast response and low hysteresis. The RV50-26X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the piloting relief, allowing the main spool to shift and open the flow path between these ports. This valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from solidifying, and a hardened spool and cage that ensure long life. The valve offers rapid and smooth responses to pressure changes and comes in an industry-common size for easy integration into existing systems.
