The Hydraforce 5610526 (5610526) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to serve as a pressure-limiting device for hydraulic circuit protection. It is compatible with both mineral-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids that have lubricating properties. This valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, allowing flow through the valve. The RV10-20X model is known for its rapid response to load changes and low internal leakage, making it suitable for typical hydraulic circuits. Although it has been superseded by the RVD58-20 model, which offers enhanced features such as better pressure rise characteristics and a smaller size, the RV10-20X remains functional in existing applications where these specific improvements are not required. However, it should be noted that the corrosion-resistant version GRV10-20 is not recommended for crossover applications.
