The Hydraforce 5610505 (5610505) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for pressure limiting in hydraulic circuits. This valve is suitable for use with both mineral-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, providing rapid response to load changes while maintaining low internal leakage. This makes it an ideal choice for typical hydraulic systems that require reliable pressure control. Although the RV10-20X serves its purpose well, Hydraforce recommends considering their newer RVD58-20 model as a superior alternative for most applications due to its improved pressure rise characteristics and smaller size, despite not being a drop-in replacement. The GRV10-20 version of this valve offers corrosion resistance but is not advised for crossover applications.
