The Hydraforce 5610308 (5610308) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to serve as a pressure limiting device for hydraulic circuit protection. It is compatible with both mineral-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids that have lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 becomes sufficient to unseat the poppet, allowing fluid passage. This design provides quick response to load changes while maintaining low internal leakage, making it suitable for typical hydraulic circuits. The RV10-20X is noted for its fast reaction time and reliable performance under varying load conditions. Although this model has been superseded by the RVD58-20, which offers improved features such as better pressure rise characteristics and a smaller form factor, the RV10-20X remains a viable option for existing applications where these enhancements are not critical.
