The Hydraforce 5610262 is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to serve as a pressure-limiting device for standard hydraulic circuit protection. This model is compatible with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the poppet, providing rapid response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits and ensuring low internal leakage. While this model is suitable for existing and new applications, it is important to note that the RVD58-20 is considered a best-in-class relief valve capable of functionally replacing this valve in most scenarios. However, it is not a direct drop-in replacement but offers comparable pressure and flow ratings with improved pressure rise characteristics and a smaller size. The GRV10-20 corrosion-resistant version of this valve is not recommended for crossover applications.
