The Hydraforce 5610260 (5610260) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve. It is designed to serve as a pressure-limiting device for common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that have lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the poppet, thereby allowing fluid flow. This design ensures a rapid response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. Although this valve has been superseded by the RVD58-20 model, which offers better pressure rise characteristics and comparable response rates in a smaller size, the RV10-20X remains functional for existing and new applications where its specific configurations are required. However, it should be noted that the GRV10-20 corrosion-resistant version of this valve is not recommended for crossover applications.
