The Hydraforce 5610109 (5610109) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is intended for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that have lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model blocks fluid flow from port 1 to port 2 until sufficient pressure at port 1 forces the poppet from its seat, allowing the flow to continue. It offers a fast response to load changes and is suitable for typical hydraulic circuits that require low internal leakage. While the RV10-20X provides reliable performance, it is worth noting that Hydraforce's RVD58-20 is recommended as a best-in-class alternative that can replace this valve in most applications. The newer RVD58-20 valve offers comparable pressure and flow ratings, a similar response rate, better pressure rise characteristics, and comes in a smaller size without dynamic seals.
