The Hydraforce 5610100V (5610100V) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for pressure limiting in common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that have lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, allowing fluid to pass through. This design ensures a rapid response to load changes while maintaining low internal leakage, making it ideal for typical hydraulic circuits. It is important to note that this valve has been superseded by the RVD58-20 model, which offers improved performance characteristics such as better pressure rise and a smaller size, although it is not a direct drop-in replacement. The GRV10-20 corrosion-resistant version of this valve is not recommended for crossover applications.
