The Hydraforce 5610066 (5610066) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed as a pressure-limiting device for common hydraulic circuit protection. It is suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that have lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet. This design ensures a quick response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. Although the RVD58-20 is suggested as a best-in-class alternative that can functionally replace this valve in most applications due to its smaller size and better pressure rise characteristics, the RV10-20X remains effective for existing and new applications that do not require a drop-in replacement. It should be noted that the GRV10-20 corrosion-resistant version of this valve is not recommended for crossover applications.
