The Hydraforce 5610041 (5610041) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to serve as a pressure-limiting device for common hydraulic circuit protection. This versatile valve is suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. In operation, the RV10-20X model blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the poppet. This design ensures fast response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. Although this model is effective for existing and new applications, it is important to note that it has been superseded by the RVD58-20, which offers improved performance characteristics such as better pressure rise attributes and a smaller size.
