The Hydraforce 5606509 (5606509) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting spool type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. It features an internal spring chamber drain and a spool damping chamber. This valve is designed to function as a pressure regulating device for secondary circuits. In its steady state, it allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When the predetermined pressure at port 1 is reached, the cartridge shifts to block flow at port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1.
