The Hydraforce 5606456 (5606456) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting spool type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. It features an internal spring chamber drain and a spool damping chamber, specifically designed to regulate pressure in secondary circuits. In its default state, this valve allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while continuously draining the spring chamber at port 3. When a predetermined pressure level is reached at port 1, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, thus maintaining regulated pressure at port 1. Additionally, in this mode, it can relieve excess pressure from port 1 to port 3. For enhanced protection and performance, port 2 can be equipped with an optional 60 x 60 mesh screen.
