The Hydraforce 5600407 (5600407) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits where low internal leakage is essential. This valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to move the spring-opposed poppet off its seat. It features adjustments that cannot be backed out and offers a variety of pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets. The adjustments come with positive stops to prevent springs from going solid. The valve supports optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. An optional bi-directional pressure seal is available for applications requiring bi-directional pressure capabilities. Its compact size makes it suitable for space-constrained environments. While this model can serve existing and new applications, it is noted that the RVD58-20 relief valve may functionally replace this valve in most applications due to its comparable pressure and flow ratings, similar response rate, better pressure rise characteristics, smaller size, and competitive cost.
