The Hydraforce 5600303 (5600303) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that require minimal internal leakage. This RV08-20X model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level that forces the spring-opposed poppet off its seat. Key features include various pressure adjustment options, such as non-adjustable factory presets and options A, B, and C with positive stops to prevent springs from becoming solid. The valve offers optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. Additionally, there is an optional bi-directional pressure feature available with a bi-directional pressure seal option. Its compact size makes it suitable for applications where space is limited. Although the RV08-20X can be replaced by the RVD58-20 in most applications due to its comparable pressure and flow ratings, response rate, better pressure rise characteristics, smaller size, and competitive cost, some existing manifolds may allow for a drop-in replacement without modification.
