The Hydraforce 5600241V (5600241V) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits requiring minimal internal leakage. This valve effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to overcome the spring-opposed poppet. It features a variety of pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets and adjustments with positive stops to prevent springs from going solid. The valve offers optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. Additionally, it has an optional bi-directional pressure capability that requires a bi-directional pressure seal option. The compact size of this valve makes it suitable for applications where space is limited. While the RV08-20X model is effective in its function, it is noted that the RVD58-20 model can functionally replace this valve in most applications due to its comparable pressure and flow ratings, response rate, and better pressure rise characteristics.
