The Hydraforce 5289170 (5289170) is a high-pressure, spool-type, screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, proportional hydraulic directional valve. In its neutral position, all ports are blocked until a remote pilot signal is applied at port 1, causing the spool to shift proportionally to the pilot pressure and gradually open all ports. The spring chamber is vented to the tank through port 5, and any pressure at this port directly affects the required pilot pressure. This valve features a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability and offers an optional sealed spool for added protection. It adheres to NFPA specification T2.6.1 standards and has undergone rigorous testing with a verification level of 90% and an assurance of 99%.
