The Hydraforce 5123912 (5123912) is a sophisticated valve designed for precise pressure relief operations in various demanding applications. Known as the TS1227X, this pilot-operated, spool-type, proportional pressure-relieving valve offers adjustable control over pressure settings through variable electric input. The unique feature of this model is its ability to modulate the regulated pressure inversely proportional to the electrical current received, enhancing its utility in systems requiring precise pressure adjustments.
This valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to overcome the spring force in the pilot section. With no current applied, it relieves at the maximum set pressure, but when current is introduced to the coil, it proportionally decreases the pressure needed to open from port 1 to port 2. This functionality makes it ideal for use as a pressure-limiting device where varying pressures are necessary.
The TS1227X is equipped with several adjustable pressure ranges and also offers a factory preset fixed-pressure model for applications requiring consistent operation without manual adjustments. It features hardened parts ensuring durability and longevity under harsh conditions. Standard options include 12 and 24-volt coils, accommodating various installation environments. Additionally, it comes with an industry-common cavity and optional waterproof ECoils rated up to IP69K, making it suitable for outdoor or moisture-prone environments.
