The Hydraforce 5123181 (5123181) is a pilot-operated, spool-type, proportional pressure relieving valve designed for precise pressure control in demanding applications. This valve, known as the TS12-27X, allows for infinite adjustment across a specified range using variable electric input, making it suitable for applications requiring customizable pressure settings. The valve functions as a pressure limiting device by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to overcome the spring force and open the pilot section. Without electrical current, the valve relieves at its maximum set pressure; however, applying current decreases the required opening pressure proportionally. The TS12-27X features several adjustable pressure ranges and factory preset fixed pressure models to accommodate various needs.
