The Hydraforce 5123178 (5123178) is a pilot-operated, spool-type, proportional pressure relieving valve designed for precise control in demanding applications. This versatile valve can be infinitely adjusted across a specified range using a variable electric input, with the regulated pressure inversely proportional to the input electrical current. It functions as a pressure limiting device, blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until sufficient pressure is present at port 1 to overcome the spring force and open the pilot section. Without any electrical current applied, the TS12-27X will relieve at its maximum set pressure; however, applying current to the coil decreases the pressure required for relief proportionally. The valve offers several adjustable pressure ranges and a factory preset fixed pressure model for diverse application needs. Constructed with hardened parts for durability, it supports both 12 and 24 volt coils as standard options and fits industry common cavities.
