The Hydraforce 5122989 (5122989) is a pilot-operated, spool-type, proportional pressure relieving valve designed for precision and reliability in demanding applications. This versatile component allows for infinite adjustment across a specified pressure range through variable electric input, making it ideal for systems requiring precise pressure control. The valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 overcomes the spring force in the pilot section. Without electrical current, the valve relieves at its maximum set pressure; however, applying current decreases the required pressure to open the valve proportionally. This model offers several adjustable pressure ranges and factory preset fixed pressures to accommodate various system requirements.
