The Hydraforce 5122887 (5122887) is a pilot-operated, spool-type proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve designed as a drop-in, flange-mounted cartridge suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that have lubricating properties. This valve features an integral coil that is not serviceable and provides regulated pressure proportional to the input electric current within a specified range. In its default state without applied current, the TS98-31 model allows flow from port 3 to port 4 while blocking port 2. When the coil is energized, flow is redirected from port 3 to port 2, and the pressure at port 3 is controlled in proportion to the current applied to the coil. If the pressure at port 3 surpasses the setting induced by the coil, it is relieved through port 4. Importantly, any back pressure on port 4 adds directly to the pressure setting at a one-to-one ratio. The valve comes standard with either 12 or 24-volt coils and includes features such as an economical drop-in style design, optional lock-down flange, multiple push-on termination options, and an optional 233-micron mesh screen. Additionally, it includes an integral waterproof coil as a standard feature.
