The Hydraforce 5122408 (5122408) is a direct-acting, single-stage, poppet-type, proportional pressure relieving valve designed for controlling hydraulic pressure in various applications. This valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to counteract the solenoid force induced by electrical current. The regulated pressure is directly proportional to the input electrical current, allowing for precise control over hydraulic systems. In the absence of electrical current, the valve permits free flow between ports, ensuring efficient operation when not actively regulating pressure. It features an industry-common cavity design and offers a manual override option for added versatility and ease of use in diverse conditions.
