The Hydraforce PV70-30BM-0-N-12DG (5111023) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority-type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile device can also be used as a restrictive type, 2-way pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed for efficient operation, the valve regulates priority flow out of port 3 with the flow rate directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid, regardless of system working pressure. Excessive flow bypasses out of port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary function control; however, care should be taken to avoid blocking this bypass line through external valving. In restrictive mode applications where port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to the solenoid current regardless of load pressure at port 3. The PV70-30BM-0-N-12DG features excellent linearity and hysteresis characteristics with a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations along with an efficient wet-armature construction. The unitized molded coil design ensures waterproofing as standard with an optional manual override feature available. It has a maximum inlet pressure rating of 241 bar (3500 psi) and regulated pressure ratings at ports up to 207 bar (3000 psi).
