The Hydraforce 5074022 (5074022) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type hydraulic cartridge valve. It is specifically designed to function as a load holding or blocking valve in applications that require low internal leakage at high pressure. When de-energized, the SF20-23 poppet lifts to allow flow from port 2 to port 1 and also permits flow from port 1 to port 2. Upon energization, the valve acts as a check valve, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 while allowing reverse flow.
