The Hydraforce 5069272 (5069272) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This versatile component is designed primarily to function as a load-holding or blocking valve in applications where low internal leakage is crucial. In its de-energized state, the SV16-21 poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1 while severely restricting flow from port 1 to port 2. When energized, it closes the port 2 to port 1 flow path and acts as a check valve, allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 only after overcoming the solenoid force, which requires between 50 to 100 psi (3.4 to 6.9 bar). The valve features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat for extended life and minimal leakage.
